top floor exposed beam ceiling

This is on our MUST list – the exposed beam gives texture and ceiling height – making a huge difference in the feeling of the space.  Since our beams might be in bad condition due to age and water, we might have to patch and paint – (often you see natural exposed beams with drywall in between or beams stained dark).  We will need drywall in between the beams for insulation, and the white beams still looks nice~!

§ One Response to top floor exposed beam ceiling

  • Adam Dahill says:

Love the exposed beams look. Plus top floors tend to have low ceilings and this should give you almost another foot in ceiling height. Looks like you guys are making progress. Can’t wait to see the final product!
