subway tiles

Can’t quite decide if I like the subway tiles or not.  It’s charming, but maybe it’ll be hard to clean?  Torn~~~ but have plenty of time to think!

Our kitchen backsplash in Tucson had subway tiles, and they are no problem to clean. The whole point is that they have tight grout lines and are easy to keep hygienic — that’s why you see them in old hospitals, etc.

Don’t neglect to order curved bullnose tiles for the edges — that’s the difference between an amateurish installation and a good one.
