Love Ann Sacks tiles.  I’m sure it’s way over our budget…  but one can have a wish list!

I follow this blog often, and have been for the past couple years.  We like the same things.  Enjoy~

Can’t quite decide if I like the subway tiles or not.  It’s charming, but maybe it’ll be hard to clean?  Torn~~~ but have plenty of time to think!

We went to the Green Depot on Sat to find some cleaning things – and also a stripper to take away the layers of paint on the marble mantels.  Will let you know if this works!

art pieces

Due to my work in Haiti (www.fairwindstrading.com) and having fallen in LOVE with Haiti – I admit having become a collector of Haitian art.  Momo is a bit concerned that our entire house – and maybe even our renter’s units – will be covered with Haitian art.  I think that might be a good thing!  Our place can become a speak-easy gallery.  Stop by for some art and tea?

But really, if you want to support the Haitian artisans – shop at http://www.macys.com/haiti – you are putting $ into the artisan’s hands and continuing tradition and spirit of the people.
